BREF Fund I, LLC (now Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC) launched on April 30, 2021, as a social impact private equity real estate fund and has raised $565,000 in equity capital from 36 Black investors (19 Males/16 Females).
In addition, the Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC has raised $205,000 in debt capital (10% annual interest rate) from BREF Debt Capital, LLC (DEBT CAPITAL WAS PAID OFF AS OF APRIL 30, 2025). On December 31, 2024, Thomas Lopez-Pierre CLOSED the Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC to new equity investors. On January 2, 2025, Thomas Lopez-Pierre launched the Urban Real Estate Fund II, LLC, as a social impact private equity real estate fund. On June 6, 2025, Thomas Lopez-Pierre launched, the Social Impact Real Estate Debt Fund, LLC. The Social Impact Real Estate Debt Fund, LLC plans to raise One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) in debt capital via a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reg. D exemption from accredited investors (from ALL racial groups) at an 10% annual interest rate to loan at a 15% annual rate of interest to the Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC and/or the Black Doctors Real Estate Fund, LLC (related social impact private equity real estate funds managed by Thomas Lopez-Pierre). The Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC and/or the Black Doctors Real Estate Fund, LLC will use the debt capital borrowed from the Social Impact Real Estate Debt Fund, LLC at a 15% annual rate of interest to invest with Black real estate entrepreneurs as equity capital (at a 50% annual rate of return) in Black communities across America. The Social Impact Real Estate Debt Fund, LLC’s investment objective is to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns, prioritize capital preservation and stable income for investors.
