BREF Fund I, LLC (now Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC) launched on April 30, 2021, as a social impact private equity real estate fund and has raised $565,000 in equity capital from 36 Black investors (19 Males/16 Females).
In addition, the Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC has raised $205,000 in debt capital (10% annual interest rate) from BREF Debt Capital, LLC (DEBT CAPITAL WAS PAID OFF AS OF APRIL 30, 2025). On December 31, 2024, Thomas Lopez-Pierre CLOSED the Urban Real Estate Fund, LLC to new equity investors. On September 26, 2025, Thomas Lopez-Pierre launched the Urban Real Estate Fund III, LLC, as a social impact private equity real estate fund.
